This seminar is designed to provide an in-depth look at the Residential Energy requirements in Chapter 11 of the International Residential Code (IRC) and Chapter 4 of the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) with practical application. A checklist will be discussed for plan review and for field inspection verifications. Discussion will cover many topics such as: the thermal envelope, failures in envelope, climate zone requirements, air barriers, vapor barriers and total UA path and performance path and how they impact our homes.
