Building Planning, Chapter 3 of the International Residential Code (IRC), sets up a compilation of code requirements that are specific to the building planning sector of the design and construction process. The provisions address a wide variety of issues important to designing a building that is both safe and usable. This chapter contains essential, broad workable knowledge regarding the construction of single and two-family dwelling units and townhomes. This course is applicable to all aspects of the design, construction and regulatory community - including contractors and design professionals.
